Elder Quarm launches album

The main auditorium of the Mataheko District Central of the Church of Pentecost (COP)was filled with joy over the weekend when a new entrant into the gospel scene, Elder Albert Quarm, took the stage to worship God with his soul touching and soothing maiden album - Di Meso Hene (Be my king). Mr. Quarm, who is the Presiding Elder of Salem Assembly under Mataheko District of COP in Accra, told Myjoyonline.com the 11-track album has one message to the world, that when people are in difficulties, the only savior they could fall on is Jesus Christ. He said happenings in the world point to the fact that the world is in crisis and believes through song ministration most lost souls would turn to God and collectively help save the world from total destruction. I am not in this industry to enrich myself, rather, looking at the path being charted by our crop of leaders in this modern world, it is evident that it is not well with the world. At this moment the world need the word of God, which I have packaged through music to propagate the gospel of God and win souls to Christ. Even though this is his debut album, the lyrics alone are enough to compel a listener to reach for his last cedis to buy a copy of his album which comes in both CDs and cassettes. No wonder it is getting enough airplay on most of the leading radio and television stations across the country already. Some of the tracks on the album include Dew, Wo Nim Menu, Kronkron, Otease, behyira Me, Obedi Hen and Awurade Reba. It was launched by Eld. Duah, a popular radio presenter at Peace FM.
