60-year-old farmer dies in motor accident

Kwame Zaga, a 60 year- old- farmer of Nsumiah a farming community near Nsawam was at the weekend killed on the spot when a vehicle travelling from Kade to Accra, collided with a taxi cab at Anofo. Briefing the Ghana News Agency on Monday, Chief Inspector Patrick Boasiako, in charge of the Motor, Traffic and Transport Unit of the Ghana Police Service, at Nsawam said the two drivers; Frank Agyei Twum, 31 and Isaac Nanigator 27, who sustained injuries are responding to treatment at the Nsawam Government Hospital. He said three persons; including Madam Vivian Asamatey and two infants have been transferred to the Koforidua hospital for further treatment. Chief inspector Boasiako said the corpse has been sent to the Police Hospital in Accra for autopsy, whilst the police are continuing with the investigations.
