See The Crowd At Shatta Wales Sallah Concert in Nima [Photos]

Shatta Wale’s still got it. The self-acclaimed ‘Dancehall King’ who was muscled out of staging an initial concert on the the recent Eid-ul-Fitr holiday by VVIP, proved that he can draw a crowd on any day.

Prodigal, a member of the trio noted on social media that, VVIP (and its prior incarnation of VIP) have been the hosting Sallafest concert in Nima since 1998, and expressed displeasure that the dancehall artiste planned to headline a separate concert on the same day. Shatta put his concert on hold saying that he did not want to fight over a concert, ‘and win’. His decision has turned out to be pure genius as fans of the talented and outspoken artiste turned out in droves for the concert on Saturday.

The artiste took his fans through hit song after hit song, and they loved every moment of it, as they sang along. Even the few minutes of rain during the concert, was largely ignored as the crowd, cheered and danced with Shatta Wale. The concert forms part of Shatta Wale’s Peace Campaign. VVIP might have had won the holiday row, but it appears the ‘president of the Shatta Movement’ has the last Sallah laugh.
