GREATER WORKSThe Spirit Of Influence

The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) is a charismatic church with a stated mission of raising leaders, shaping vision and influencing society through Christ. For 32 years of its existence the church has developed a range of annual events such as Greater Works, Destiny Summit, Life Walk and Cross Over.

Greater Works Conference is ICGC’s flagship event. For three decades, it has grown to become an important converging point for people seeking spiritual renewal and personal transformation. Events at the conference would typically entail music, dance, praise and worship and the preaching of God’s word.

The beginning of the Greater Works Conference can be traced back to the various camp meetings organized by the church right from the mid-1980s when the church was growing and getting established.

Greater Works was officially instituted in 1987 at Baden Powell Hall with an attendance of about 2000. The conference as always had both local and international speakers ministering the word of God. Every year, the conference is held in the final week of July and is the climax of the ‘spiritual emphasis moth’ of the church.

The event which starts Monday, 25th July, 2016, features morning and evening sessions over five-day period. This year’s evening sessions will be held at the Independence Square. The morning sessions will still be held at Christ Temple at Abossey Okai.

Seasoned and respected men of God have shared the responsibility of giving counsel and direction to the thousands in attendance, complementing each other’s effort with the quality and uniqueness.

The speakers for this year’s edition; regulars for some years now are: Pastor Mensa Otabil, Head pastor of ICGC, Bishop Tudor Bismark, Senior Pastor of New Life Covenant Church in Hare, Zimbabwe, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), London, and Dr Mike Okonkwo, Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM).
