The 22-year-old came on to replace Dennis Aogo in the second half.

The Ghanaian international gave a good account of himself at the Waldstadion Mittersill.

Striker Franco Di Santo and Ghanaian youngster Bernard Tekpetey were on target for Schalke.

Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah was also in action for Bologna.

The left-back joined the Bundesliga side on a season loan deal from English giants Chelsea.

The former Ghana U20 star will be hoping to make an impression at German Club in other to regain his spot in the Chelsea team.
