Let's all rally behind government

The Reverend Arnold Agyeman Nyame, Senior Pastor of the House of Vision Ministries, has called on political parties to bury their differences and rally behind the government to ensure national development. He said it was only through unity of purpose and the zeal to serve the nation other than parochial interest that Ghanaians could make a meaningful contribution to national reconstruction. Rev. Agyeman Nyame made the call at the end of this year's 'Super Natural Conference 2009' in Accra on Sunday. The seven-day conference was under the theme: "How to Conquer Your Enemies". Rev. Agyeman Nyame said it would be very difficult for any country that is divided to see growth and asked all stake holders to also contribute to issues affecting the social and economic wellbeing of the people. He advised the youth to desist from the get-rich-quick attitude and "be addicted to the word of God for them to succeed in life." Rev. Agyeman Nyame appealed to drivers not to drive under the influence of alcohol to protect life and property as Christmas draws closer. Rev. Ben Sarfo, an elder of the church, appealed to the government to continue the projects which were initiated by the previous government. He appealed to parents to take active interest in the education of their children to enable them to grow to become useful citizens.
