The Evangelical Presbyterian Development and Relief Agency (EPDRA) of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church will organize a health fair to mark World AIDS Day.
The one day exercise is also to mark the 150 years of the Dela Cathedral of the church in Ho.
Mrs Lydia Adajawah, Presbyter Executive of the Church, told the GNA that the fair, to be jointly organized by the Internal Revenue Service/German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) would focus on HIV/AIDS voluntary counselling and testing.
EPDRA organized a similar programme as part of this year's Asogli Yam festival during which several people were screened of diseases including diabetes, blood Pressure and HIV/AIDS and counselling on healthy habits.
Ms Ariane von Maercker, a German Development Officer in charge of EPDRA HIV/AIDS Programme, said the fair would enable people to know their status, re-echo the existence of HIV/AIDS and the need for all to be cautious.
