Kofi Adams Launches Agona West Campaign Team

Mr Kofi Adams, the Campaign Co-ordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has charged the Agona West campaign team to work hard to ensure victory for President Mahama and Mr Charles Obeng-Inkoom, the NDC parliamentary candidate.

He urged the campaign team and other supporters of the NDC to actively participate in the campaign to achieve the desired results in the upcoming elections.

Mr Adam was speaking at the launch of the Agona West NDC campaign team at Agona Swedru.

Mr Samuel Mpota, Agona West NDC Constituency Chairman, is the campaign manager and Mr Samuel Oppong, the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Agona West, is the campaign co-ordinator.

The launch coincided with the inauguration of the Central Regional Campaign Taskforce attended by Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur and other past and present ministers of state.

Mr Adams tasked the team to work hard to ensure that the more than 60 per cent win, promised by the people of the Western Region for President Mahama and the presidential candidate in the December 2016 polls, come into fruition.
    
Mr Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the Central Regional Chairman of NDC, called on the members to take the task seriously and go the extra mile to defeat the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He said the Central Region was poised to win 20 parliamentary seats for the NDC including the Effutu, Upper Denkyira West and East and Assin South in the upcoming elections.

Mr Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, the Central Regional Minister, urged the regional campaign taskforce to work even harder in areas where the NDC’s performance was low.

Mr Obeng-Inkoom, the MP for Agona West, said the Government, led by  President Mahama, had done well for Agona West and there was the need to give them the mandate to contnitue with the good work.

Other speakers were Mrs Ama Benyiwa Doe, former Central Regional Minister, Mrs Faustian Nelson, former NDC Executive Member, and Mr Solomon Nkansah, the NDC Communication Director.
