Acting National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay, may have strongly predicted a massive win for the NPP in the upcoming presidential polls – but little did he know his party has been ‘barred’ from wining any elections.

According to the Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Akua Donkor, the NPP has no chance of winning December 7 elections which her party will be contesting.

“Nana Addo and his people cannot win any elections. God has banished them from winning any elections. They will remain in opposition till thy kingdom come,” She said in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie.

Akua Donkor’s comment comes after Freddie Blay emphatically stated that the NPP was going to win the 2016 general elections with not less than a 60 percent of the total votes.

To him, the party is not looking at winning this year's election with just 53 percent of the total votes, as predicted by a chief in the north, but rather a landslide victory that will not only overwhelm the ruling government, but will make it exceedingly difficult for any party to reject the verdict of the people.

However, Madam Akua Donkor who doubted the chances of her party winning the December polls, tipped the NDC to rather win – “My son [President Mahama] will win to continue his good works”
