Photos: Vice President Visits Graveyard Of Prez Mahamas� Mother

Upon reaching the hometown of President Mahama’s late mother, Vice President Kwesi Amissah- Arthur was received warmly by residents of Busunu in the Northern Region.

The Vice President was on his way to Buipe but made a whistle stop at the graveside of Hajia Naaba, the president’s late mother.

Addressing news men, the Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, stated that during the burial of the great woman he was out of town; hence thought it appropriate to visit the place.

He described the late Naaba as a great and courageous person who has gifted to Ghana a great and courageous man in the name of President Mahama. Islamic prayers were said for her during the vice president’s visit.

In an address to the crowd, the Vice President called on them to go out and massively vote for the NDC and John Mahama in order to continue with the good work that he's doing. He added that President Mahama is a son of the soil so the need to go and there and spread the good message.
