Veep Urges U/E Regional NDC Task Force To Resolve All Lingering Internal Conflicts

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah –Arthur has tasked the Upper East Regional Task Force of the NDC Party to resolve all lingering internal conflicts in order to secure a resounding victory for the NDC and President John Mahama in the upcoming elections in December.

 Mr Amissah He made the statement on Wednesday in the Upper East region when he inaugurated the Upper East Regional NDC Task Force headed by Hon Dominic Azumah.

The Vice President after innugurationg the team underscored the need to for the NDC in the region to have a united front to increase the presidential votes for President John Dramani Mahama in the 2016 elections in December.

He further asked the newly inaugurated task force to ensure a high party voter turnout during the elections so that the party and President John Mahama to secure the needed victory in the 2016 elections.


On his part Hon Domnic Azumah said the NDC would win massively in the Upper East Region massively on the campaign of its track record and continuity in governance together with experience.

 Hon Domnic Azuma assured the Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur and the NDC party that that they would work hard to secure a targeted 80% of the presidential votes as against the 66.4% the Party polled in 2012

 .He said the region under the NDC government the region has witnessed the Creation of four additional districts to accelerate the development processes.

They are Pusiga,Binduri, and the Bulsa South District and added that the region been allocated ten new senior high schools and the putting up of a yet to be completed expansion of the Bolgatanga  Regional Hospital.
