The Campaign Coordinator for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, says it will be extremely risky and speculative to hand over Ghana to NPP’s flagbearer and his running mate to rule.

According to him – both Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are “not fit” for the position as President and Vice President respectively.

“Ghana cannot take that risk to hand over the nation to these people who cannot even handle their small party issues,” he said. 

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’ – Mr Adams opined that, NPP’s running mate Dr Bawumia manipulated statistics and data in favour of his party during his recent economic lecture.

According Dr. Bawumia – Ghana was better under ex-President Mills' tenure than it has been under President Mahama, even though both fell short of the level of achievements under ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor.

“All he said were lies. Bawumia has been consistent in lying,” Kofi Adams told sit-in host, Nana Yaw Kese. 

He however urged Ghanaians to vote massively to maintain the Mahama-led government in the upcoming Presidential polls.
