NDC Poised To Continue Projects In Volta

Mr Benjamin Kpodo, the Member of Parliament for the Ho Central Constituency, has asserted that only the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is committed to initiating and completing development projects in the Volta Region.

He, therefore, urged the electorates in the Region to ignore  the deceitful promises of the other Parties and retain the NDC in power in the December polls.

Mr Kpodo made the assertion at the inauguration of the NDC’s Election Campaign Taskforce for the Ho Central Constituency.

“If you vote for the NPP, know that they will discontinue all projects ongoing in the Region. That is their track record,” he said. “They relocated the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre from Akoefe to Accra, so you know what I’m talking about.”

Mr Kpodo enumerated the projects undertaken by the Government in the Constituency and said it was important for the people to appreciate President Mahama by retaining him in power.

Mr Francis Ganyaglo, the Deputy Volta Regional Minister, who inaugurated the 15-Member Taskforce, said the Constituency was targeting 80,000 votes each for President Mahama and Mr Kpodo and charged the members of the Taskforce to deliver the results.

He said the Volta Region remained the NDC’s “World Bank” and asked the Taskforce to make results of the impending elections reflect that status.

Mr Ludwig Hlordze, a former National Youth Organizer of the NDC, urged the members of the Taskforce and branch executives to distribute logistics and souvenirs equitably for a successful campaign.
