National Service Personnel Renovates Joykol Orphanage At Kasoa

National Service Personnel of CAL Bank Limited has smartened up Joykol Orphanage at Kasoa.

The gesture has become an annual benevolent work by personnel of the banking institution who are posted to service.

This year’s group however found the need to support the Joykol Orphanage at Kasoa - considering the dilapidated nature of the classroom structure and the conditions under which the orphans studied, the group unanimously decided to pursue a complete renovation of the basic school structure.

The project was funded with contributions from the 2015/2016 National Service Group of the bank with massive sponsorship from the mother institution, CAL Bank Limited, Lion Aluminium Co. Ltd. - and goodhearted individuals.

With supervision from the executive body of the group, the renovation lasted for four months from start to finish.

The group in a colourful ceremony handed over to the authority of the Joykol Orphanage the refurbished class to be used.

Ms. Joyce Koshie Lamptey, the proprietress of the orphanage and Bishop Clifford Dodoo the resident Chaplain expressed heartfelt gratitude to the group and the bank for such a generous offer.
