It is refreshing this great Republic is seeing one of its most interesting campaigns since 1992.

In a campaign era of ratios, allegories and symbolisms, it is important to take note of the limits to which such political jests can go, and wishing any flagbearer dead is way above the tolerable threshold of wholesome politicking.

As an indepent observer and Peace Ambassador for this year's election, I humbly encourage healthy political debates to sway the general electorate to the right direction and choice, rather than such acts that reduce a critical national election like this one to student politics.

I urge all political parties to avoid the use of all forms of provocative language including the reverberating mantra 'Incompetent Mahama' and the cliché 'Dictatorial Nana Addo'

I congratulate the NDC on a successful manifesto launch over the weekend and wish same for the NPP, PPP, PNC, CPP et al in the coming weeks.
