Hardships of Ghanaians Cannot Vanish Overnight - Kwesi Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has lambasted critics of the Mahama administration, claiming the hardships of Ghanaians cannot vanish overnight.

To Kwesi Pratt Jnr., the Mahama government deserves credit for the good works it has done for the economy and Ghanaians.

Mr. Pratt touted some achievements of the Mahama government, stressing that the government has improved the health sector.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Pratt however noted that every government is faced with some challenges and so it's not a novelty that Ghanaians are being confronted with some economic crises.

Commenting on the grievances of workers in the country, Mr. Pratt expressed no surprise that workers are demanding better living conditions from the government.

According to him, workers deserve to announce their plight for the government to revamp their living conditions but "the fact that workers are demanding improvement in their conditions of service doesn’t also mean that nothing is happening.”

“ . . it doesn’t mean that the government has done nothing. There’s no way to prove that all the hardships will vanish tomorrow morning when we give someone power. The question to ask is have we moved forward or are at a standstill or rather retrogressing? These are the critical questions," he stated.
