Don't Change Prez Mahama For Any Candidate - Chief Of Staff Tells U/W Electorates

The Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah has told the people of the Upper West region as well as voters in other parts of the country to extend the mandate of President John Dramani Mahama as they go to cast their ballot on December 7th which is 76 days away.

He said a performing, visionary and committed President like his Excellency Mahama should not be changed but given another term to continue implementing transformative policies contained in the NDC manifesto to make the country a prosperous place to live.

The Chief of staff made the statement when he called on the Wechiawu Naa (Chief) Naa Imoru Nandom II as well as the Dorimon Naa, Naa Gori Sohimwinye II all in the Wa West district of the Upper West region as part of his six-day tour of the region.

Mr Julius Debrah said the Green Revolution (Operation Feed Yourself) which President Mahama will introduce when given a second term will transform the agriculture sector in a short time and raise the standard of living of poor farmers in rural areas.

The chiefs of Wechiawu appealed to government to ensure the extension of electricity and potable water to communities in their traditional areas which lack those facilities. They also urged government to ensure early completion of the community senior high school being put up in the district.

The Upper West regional minister Hon Alhaji Amin Sulemani assured the people of equal distribution of the national cake to all communities in the region by government.
