Office Of The Vice President Condemns Yellow Journalism

The attention of the Office of the Vice President has been drawn to a false and malicious story published by a so-called Accra Post in its Monday 19th – Tuesday 20th September, 2016 edition and carried by the online portal Ghanaweb.

The report is baseless, unfounded and a figment of the imagination of the said newspaper.

The yellow journalism displayed by the paper is calculated to sow seeds of discord among supporters of the government, and the rank and file of the National Democratic Congress in particular, especially after the successful launch of our manifesto in Sunyani.

The Office of the Vice President strongly condemns the obvious fabrication and demands a retraction and an unconditional apology.

Whilst urging the general public to disregard the falsehood disguised as news, it is important to emphasise that Vice President K. B. Amissah-Arthur fully supports and believes in the leadership and integrity of President John Dramani Mahama.
