Prez Mahama Will Transform Agric Sector In Nadowli - Chief Of Staff

The Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah has assured the Chiefs and People of the Nadowli Traditional area that the next term of President John Dramani Mahama will radically transform the agricultural economy of the Nadowli-Kaleo traditional areas and the rest of the country.

Speaking during a campaign interaction with the Chiefs and opinion leaders of the Nadowli Traditional area in the company of the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, the Chief of Staff laid out the investments the President intends his government to make in the area of agriculture.

He revealed to loud applause that twelve thousand tractors will be procured as part of that investment in modernising agriculture with the aim of transforming the local economies while ensuring that it leads to positive changes in the lives of the people.

He dubbed that agenda 'the green revolution' which he recalled is similar to the 'operation feed yourself' which was successfully executed by General Kutu Acheampong during his leadership of Ghana in the 1970s.

During his turn to speak, the Parliamentary Candidate, Honourable Alban Sumana Kinsford Bagbin said he was humbled by the show of comradeship by the Chief of Staff, "the General of Ghana politics" Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and all those who support the NDC and his candidature.
