NDC Mercenary On The Loose

As December 7-the date for the general elections inches closer-political parties are upping their efforts to rally support from some media personnel to mischievously attack their contenders with some so-called evidence and facts in their quest to win favor from the electorates.

One of such media personnel who is bent on and is running down the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) the host of an afternoon program ‘Adwenpo’ on Ahotor FM-a burgeoning radio station in Lashibi, in Accra.

Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah, the host who is steadily living up to the accolade of tormentor in chief of Nana Akufo Addo was yesterday afternoon, together with some other panelists on his show at his best tagging the NPP flagbearer with a long-dead tag which could not fly against the Nana Akufo Addo.

On the show, Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah of Ahoto FM played a voice purportedly of the parliamentary candidate of the NPP in the Adentan Constituency, Yaw Buaben Asamoah where he allegedly questioned how the flagbearer could have completed his education in Harvard University when drugs could not allow him to study.

No sooner had he played the audio tape than speaker after speaker took to ridiculing the Nana Akufo Addo with unprintable words.

This paper gathered however that the particular tape, which is circulation in other social media, has been in existence for sometime now even though its authenticity has been questioned by many a Ghanaian and dismissed as doctored.

Ahoto FM`s Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah, has reportedly claimed that that he has many damning audio tapes and is ready to use it against Nana Addo on his show.

Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah it was, who months after he was axed from Asempa FM as the host of ‘Ekosii sen’ blamed top officials of Multi Media for scheming with the NPP to get him out of the station.

He alleged received information from someone within the NPP alleging that some senior officials of the Multimedia Group including the Chief Operating Officer of Asempa FM, Ekyi Quarm were paid GH¢ 20,000 by NPP to get rid of him because of the perception that he was working for the NDC.

Tongues are however wagging on what the motive of the radio presenter is to want to ridicle the flagbearer of the NPP.

Stay tuned.
