Mahama 'Threat' To Ghana Akufo-Addo

President John Mahama is a threat to Ghana’s development and must be kicked out of office in the 7 December polls, the three-time flag bearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has said.

“We have to save Ghana from John Dramani Mahama and secure the future of our country,” Mr Akufo-Addo told a crowd in Tema West in the Greater Accra Region where he took his campaign tour on Friday 23 September.

“The continued stay in office of John Dramani Mahama is a threat to the future of our country. This is why we are coming to change things in this December election.”

He promised that a future NPP government under his leadership would bring prosperity, create jobs, and ensure that Ghanaians have a comfortable life.

Nana Akufo-Addo has also said his tours around the country show that Ghanaians want a change of government. On Thursday, he called on the electorate in Sege, Ada, Prampram, among other communities in the Greater Accra Region, to vote for him in the December polls to enable him implement his policies which would improve the economy and ensure development in the country.

“Everywhere I go, I have realised that people want a change of government. I believe Sege will be part of the change. I want the people of Sege and everybody to know that I have better policies to implement for Ghana’s development. The NPP will develop Ghana and not steal from citizens like what the current government is doing. We want to improve the future of children in this country,” he stated.

Nana Akufo-Addo has promised to construct one factory in every district and an irrigation dam in every farming village up north to help Ghana become self-sufficient in food production and even become an exporter of food to the sub-region if he is elected as president in the December polls.
