Let's Avoid Our Political Opponents . . . No Violence In 2016 Elections - Namoale Advises NDC Faithfuls

Member of Parliament for the La Dadekotopon constituency, Nii Amasah Namoale has urged members of the ruling National Democratic Congress to "avoid their political opponents" and not step into their campaign arena.

According to him, the NDC members should abstain from making appearance in the party's paraphenalia at their opponents' camp.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Hon. Namoale believed any attempt by a member or supporter of the NDC to go to the camp of the opponent could brew violence.

Hon. Namoale further advised leadership of the various political parties to sensitize their members about the effects of violence as the nation gears up for the December elections this year.

He hoped for a violence-free election and so believed it behoves on the leadership of the parties as well as their members and supporters to take cautious steps in averting any calamitous incident before, during and after the elections.

“I will entreat the political parties’ leadership to advise their party faithfuls to note that Ghana will improve when we have peace. Ghana is one person,” he said.
