''Three strong stalwarts of the NPP will not witness the reign of Nana Akufo. Mark it on the wall. They are going to die. What is going to happen will be serious. God has ordained Akufo Addo as President, victory awaits him and if you want that victory to elude him, then you will have to go.''

When asked further if those three strong stalwarts of the party were against the victory of the NPP's candidate, he said, ''everything is in God's hands, and if you want to put asunder the victory God has purposed for Nana Addo, then you will have to go, to ensure that his [Nana Addo's] victory comes to pass... We don't hate anyone and so, let those that have ears, hear,'' he posited.

Nana Akufo-Addo is contesting the presidential election for the third time after he contested in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

He lost to the late President Mills who also won on the third attempt in 2008 but died while in office in 2012.
