Thousands of mourners gathered at a Kentucky high school Monday night for a candlelight vigil honoring Trinity Gay, Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay’s 15-year-old daughter who was fatally shot early Sunday morning.
Speaking to the crowd on the athletic track of Lafayette High School, where the 34-year-old began his career, Gay pleaded with the community to “stop the nonsense and violence.”
