Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere-Darko, known in music circles as Obrafour, has taken a swipe at Okyeame Kwame�s assertion of being the best rapper alive.
According to Obrafour, �Okyeame Kwame can say he is the best rapper, but not the best rapper alive, does it mean all the other rappers are dead,� he asked.
Obrafour made the declaration on a Kumasi-based radio station, Luv FM�s programme �Private Party�.
His latest single �Kaseibo�, which features Guru, has generated controversy in a section of the media, �I do not see my latest single as a �dissing� song, not at all, for me, this is not a �diss� song, I�m only expressing my opinion, I don�t have a grudge with Kwame as people may think,� Obrafour disclosed.
�People should appreciate the creativity in the song; they should not read too much meaning into the song. As I said, I don�t have any problem with my brother Okyeame Kwame,� he added.
According to Obrafour, he has been absent from the music scene for four good years because he was attacked by a strange disease which doctors could not diagnose , but was very happy that Jesus Christ came to his rescue to heal him.
Obrafour would drop his 15-track album titled �Asem Beba Dabi� at the end of October.
In his response on the same programme, �Private Party�, Obuor said he has no problem with the track, even though a portion of the track was against him. He said he has decided not to talk about the track, because he has a lot of work under his sleeve which needs to be executed.
He called on radio presenters in the country to play the track but should not hype Obrafour too much to make him too popular, he stated jokingly.
