Be Calm And Confident, President Mahama Has Won Young Cadres

After undertaking a collation of 265 constituencies out of the 275 across the country, it has emerged that President John Dramani Mahama has garnered a total of 5,543,104 representing 51.6% of valid votes cast whilst his closest rival Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo sits at second place with 5,132,801 representing 47.77% of valid votes cast.

From the above, it has become abundantly clear that His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has won this highly contested presidential race with a convincing margin.

Against this backdrop, we, the leadership of Young Cadres Association would like to urge all party supporters, especially, members of Young Cadres Association to exercise restraint in the face of all provocations, and to hold strong to their belief that President Mahama has won this year's elections.

We would urge all Young Cadres to hold on till the Electoral Commission, the constitutionally-mandated body, declares President Mahama the winner, and even after that, all our celebrations should be done in moderation in order not to hurt the sensibilities of our opponents.

Thank you all for a good fight.
