Don't Criticize T.B. Joshua: Prophet

The Reverend Prophet Isaac Asante, General Overseer of the Mount Ararat Church International, has called on Ghanaians to stop criticizing Prophet T.B. Joshua on his comment about the victory of the Black Satellites at the just-ended World U-20 Youth Championship in Egypt. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday at the Church's premises at Amasaman in the Ga West District, he said Prophet Joshua spoke his mind stating that before the final match with Brazil, he prophesied that Ghana was going to win. Prophet Asante said a section of the public was saying that Prophet Joshua's prophesy was not from God, adding; "if it is not from God, then Satan is being glorified". He said that Prophet Joshua, apart from preaching God's message, also offered scholarship to the needy and fed the poor and the vulnerable. "If a stop is not put to the criticism, curse would follow the nation," he said and added that "other pastors are preaching for their selfish desire but this man is not selfish". Prophet Asante noted that God was working through Prophet Joshua and said Ghanaians should not introduce politics into God's ministry. He advised politicians to iron out their differences and work together as a team to ensure national development.
