Premier Health Insurance has launched a new health plan called "Apomuden Health Plans".

Premier Health Insurance is a private commercial health insurance company licensed by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and boasts of over 40000 clients across the country.

The company, which is one of the country's leading private health insurance companies, unveiled this new plan in Accra on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Addressing a gathering at the event, Chief Executive Officer of the company, Percy Asare Ansah noted that the "Apomuden Health Plans" is intended to solve the anxiety of "being called impromptu and asked to send money for medical emergency of a loved one. The registered relatives will have quality, accessible, holistic and well-structured healthcare from our network of over 500 service providers across Ghana."

The Premier Apomuden plan, according to management of the company, will allow relative outside Ghana to purchase health insurance for dependants in the country who can access quality healthcare through our health service providers across the country.

This plan is to make health accessibility affordable in that Ghanaian nationals abroad will not have to go through any struggles to ensure health service to their relatives.
