Impostor in police grip

Boi Issah Quartey, a 30-year-old man, described as a land guard, has been arrested for possessing an identity card bearing the name of Arafat Quaye, a worker at the Office of the President. The Adenta District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Stephen Kofi Ahiatafu, told the Ghana News Agency on Thursday that Quartey was among a number of land guards arrested during an operation at Adenta. He said during investigations the card, which was issued on May 15, 2009 with serial No. OPO91 was found on him. ASP Ahiatafu said the Police was investigating how the ID card came into the possession of the culprit.
