Hearts Assistant Coach Henry Willington Set To Quit

Assistant Coach of Hearts of Oak Henry Willington could quit his post at the Club with few days to the start of the Ghana Premier League, according to reports in the media.
 
Willington is set to leave his post after reportedly complaining of activities by management of the Club which has affected the team.

Players of the Rainbow Club have not been paid for the past five months which saw them boycotting training on Tuesday morning.

Further reports also indicate the Coach (Henry Willington) is owed some amount of money having joined the Ghanaian giants’ months ago.

The former Kotoko assistant Coach is believed could relinquish his job before the start of the season.

The former King Faisal trainer is currently working as the interim head Coach for the side following the Club’s failure to appoint a new head Coach since the departure of Japanese Kenichi Yatshuhasi.

Hearts of Oak take on Inter-Allies in match-day one of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
