Provide Documents For Intercepted Cars; No Need To Drag Issues - 'Abronye DC'

Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP], Kwame Baffoe, also known as ‘Abronye DC’ is challenging NDC officials who are claiming ownership of the interception of the cars to provide documents to take back those cars.

According to him there is no need to drag this issue, as the only solution to put an end to the matter is for the NDC officials in possession of those cars to come up with the requisite documents proving the interceptors wrong.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Kwame Baffoe averred that “when you bring evidence to prove that the cars belong to you, we will give you back those cars . . . bring out documents to prove your claim.”

“I don’t see why we should drag this issue to this point. Why will someone say his five cars have been seized? Just bring out documents to claim them; even bicycles have documents. We don’t need to wait for the police to intercept the cars whereas we can cause citizen arrest first and report to the police afterwards,” he challenged.

Taking a clue from the news which has gone viral that some individuals suspecting to be NPP’s Invisible Forces have intercepted cars belonging to the opposition NDC National Organizer, Kofi Adams, Kwame Baffoe maintained that some members of NDC are using witting means to steal state cars.

He emphasized that he will use every means necessary to intercept any car belonging to the state should he receive any information and evidence pointing to the direction of any NDC member.

“We will use every means necessary to intercept the cars. When you come with document to prove ownership of the cars, we will hand over the cars to you . . . if they are able to prove us wrong, I am ready to pay any penalty for wrongful interception,” he charged.

He hinted that in Brong Ahafo alone, he and his team with the help of the police have intercepted 12 cars from the NDC Regional Organizer and handed them over to the Regional Coordinating Council.
