Police Called To Diego Maradona's Hotel After Alleged Assault Of Girlfriend

Police were called to Diego Maradona's hotel room in Madrid on Wednesday morning over an incident with his girlfriend Rocio Oliva, according to reports in Spain.

The couple are staying at the Eurostars Suites Mirasierra in the Spanish capital and ABC report that Ms. Oliva, 26, called to the hotel's reception at 8.30am on Wednesday morning claiming that she was being attacked.

Police arrived at the hotel, located in the north of Madrid, at which point she is said to have described the incident as a 'strong argument' with her 56-year-old fiancée.
