Eminem and Lady GaGa to Perform at 2009 American Music Awards

Eminem and Lady GaGa reportedly have been added to the line-up of 2009 American Music Awards. If the rumor is true, the rapper and dance queen will take the stage of Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on November 22. Eminem is well known for his controversial lyrics. He recently dropped short verses which contained explicit words and got censored at 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards. As for Lady GaGa, she was slammed by PAPYRUS, a suicide prevention interest group, for faking her own death on a gory MTV VMAs performance. The 37th Annual American Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC. Previously-confirmed musical guests include Adam Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, DAUGHTRY, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Jay-Z and Alicia are scheduled to make a duet, delivering so-called New York anthem "Empire State of Mind". Adam and Jennifer are expected to perform their new singles, singing "For Your Entertainment" and "Louboutins" respectively. As for other performers, it is still unclear what songs they will perform at the annual event.
