KP Boateng Set For 1.5m Contract Extension At Las Palmas

Spanish Club Las Palmas are planning to extend the contract of Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The player according to reports in Spain will be handed a contract extension at the end of the season.

Boateng has lived up to expectation since joining Las Palmas as a free agent. The 29-year-old was signed on a one-year deal by the La Liga outfit, but reports emerging indicate the Club is ready to sign him on for an additional two years which could see him earn € 1.5 million.

The Ghanaian international has scored seven goals in the Spanish La Liga so far this season. Following a fruitless stint with German Club Schalke O4 and Italian outfit AC Milan, the former Germany Youth star joined Las Palmas in the summer transfer window to revive his career.

The ex-Portmouth and Borussia Dortmund man is currently serving a suspension from the Black Stars team.
