Veteran politician and leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC], Enoch Teye Mensah says President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is his good friend despite their different political views.
According to the former Member of Parliament [MP] for Ningo-Prampram, he and President Nana Akufo-Addo were elected as legislators in the same year and has valued his friendship ever since.
"I was elected into parliament in 1996 with Nana Addo. People must know that, before politics I have known him for years before NDC and NPP," he disclosed.
Speaking on NEAT FM's morning show dubbed 'Ghana Montie', E. T. Mensah however denied claims that he sneaked to Nana Addo's Nima residence to pat on his back when he won the December 2016 elections.
He told host Kwesi Aboagye that "People talk about what they don't know. If I want to go to Nana Addo's place, I will not hide; I will make it public because he has been a good friend for years."
