Five Ghanaians were reportedly rescued, earlier this week, following xenophobic attacks on immigrants in South Africa.

Within the week, some irate South African gangs attacked and looted shops belonging to immigrants for fear that they might be taking over their local businesses.

Addressing the South African issue on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', CPP's James Kwabena Bomfeh condemned the xenophobic acts wondering why Africans would take on their fellow Africans and so called for the 'black hatred' to end.

James Kwabena Bomfeh, also called Kabila, further cited associated cases where Ghanaians abroad are confronted by despicable acts of attacks, blaming the Travel and Tours companies in the country which fly them over to such nations.

He called on President Akufo-Addo and his government to investigate the operations and license of the various Travel and Tours companies across the nation because to him, they form a major part of the problem.

Kabila told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that a video in his possession showed a Ghanaian girl also being decapitated in Saudi Arabia and wondered what may have accounted for the travels by the nationals overseas.

“We should investigate all of them. Where do they take our people? Which license do they operate with . . . if we do it well, we all (Ghana) will have no cause to blame anybody.”

Kabila condemned the South African xenophobic attacks and called on African leaders to denounce the incidents.
