Vodafone Ghana Music Award 2017 has officially been launched.
Nominees for the awards were unveiled at the launch on Friday February 24,2017 amidst many stars including nominees at the ceremony.
Some of celebrities present at the event included: Actress Lydia Forson, Sammy Forson, Deborah Venessa, Miss Malaika 2016, Appietus among others. Some members of the VGMA board were also present.
Ras Kuuku, Medikal, Jeshurun Okyere, Wulomei, among others entertained the audience with their unique performances on the night.
Rappers EL and Medikal bagged the highest nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) announced at the exquisite Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
The event classified as the biggest awards in the country happens on April 8 at the Accra International Conference but before the main event will be nominees jam in Brong Ahafo Region.
The main awards event is scheduled for Saturday, April 8 at the Accra International Conference Centre under the theme Celebrating 60 Years of GH Music.
