Circle-Odawna Trotro Station Officers Search For Paralysed Passenger’s Relatives

A woman believed to be in her early sixties is reported to have collapsed at the Circle-Odawna Trotro Station in Accra.

The woman whose name and identity is still unknown because of her condition was taken to the Keneshie Polyclinic where she is currently responding to treatment.

Mr Henry Quansah, General Station Master and Mr Omari-Osei, Welfare Secretary of the Station reported this to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, on Wednesday, to help get the public to trace her relatives.

According to Mr Quansah, the woman came to the station to board a trotro, but she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.

He said, after rushing her to the hospital, the station officers searched the two bags the woman was holding but could not find any documentation with regard to her identity.

Mr Quansah said some medication were found in the bags, which nurses at the Polyclinic have described as a hypertensive drugs.

Madam Millicent Aboagyewaa, a nurse at the polyclinic, told the GNA that the woman’s condition had deteriorated into s stroke, explain that  the drugs in her possession indicated that she was a hypertensive patient.

She, however, confirmed that her condition was stable and she was responding to treatment.

Chief Inspector Diana Amoako of the Neoplan Police Station also confirmed that a complaint was made to her outfit by Mr Quansah and Mr Omari-Osei on the situation of the woman. 

The station officials are, therefore, appealing to the public to inform the relatives of the woman to contact Mr Quansah on 0244 795 b732 and Mr Omari-Osei on 020 8073996.
