National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has taken a swipe at Kofi Adams, National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo in relation to the internal strife brewing in the opposition party, Sammy Awuku didn't mince words as he described Mr. Adams as being extremely arrogant.

According to him, Mr. Adams is the most corrosively foul-mouthed person in the NDC.

The NPP National Youth Organizer supported his claims by making reference to some actions and statements made by Mr. Adams, particularly prior to the 2016 elections.

To him, Kofi Adams is "always extremely arrogant. When it comes to use of obscene language, he will give it to you with cheeky ease", adding that such character is one of the reasons that accounted for the NDC's defeat in the elections.

Sammy Awuku told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the NDC failed to retain power because they disrespected Ghanaians.

They were full of themselves and displayed "arrogance of power; vulgar display of arrogance of power" which led to their defeat, he noted.

He believed the NPP will stay in government for a long time only if they don't become arrogant because disrespecting Ghanaians is the fastest way to go into opposition.
