Desist From Any Examination Malpractices - Education Minister Tells WASSCE Candidates

Education Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has admonished this year's WASSCE candidates to desist from any act of examination malpractices during the WASSCE this year.

The Sector Minister warned and alerted the students about the repercussions of any misconduct during the examinations.

In a statement signed by the Minister and copied to Peacefmonline.com, Hon. Opoku Prempeh said ". .we urge you to desist from any form of examination malpractices and to conduct yourselves in a manner that is dignified and commendable. The consequences of the examination malpractices are serious and include cancelation of results and prosecution."

He however sent a goodwill message to the 2017 WASSCE candidates, advising them to excel in the examinations.

"On behalf of the Ministry of Education, I wish all two hundred and eighty-nine thousand, two hundred and seven (289,207) candidates sitting this year's West African Senior Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) the very best of luck," he stated.

GOODWILL MESSAGE TO 2017 WASSCE CANDIDATES

On behalf of the Ministry of Education, I wish all two hundred and eighty-nine thousand, two hundred and seven (289,207) candidates sitting this year's West African Senior Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) the very best of luck.

We encourage each of you to raise your spirit, remain strong and do the best you can during the examinations. This is the crowning moment of your Senior High School education.

We trust that you have applied yourselves diligently to your studies, have used your time judiciously and are now ready for these examinations.

We urge you to desist form any form of examination malpractices and to conduct yourselves in a manner that is dignified and commendable.

The consequences of examination malpractices are serious and include cancelation of results and prosecution.

We have every confidence that supervisors, invigilators and inspectors will discharge their duties professionally by conducting themselves in accordance with the rules and regulations of the examinations in order to ensure their credibility.

Once again, we wish all candidates the very best in these examinations.
