Scores Arrive In Kwahu For Easter Celebrations

Lorry stations are getting packed as cars throng in from various parts of the country to the “hub” of the Easter celebrations; Kwahu on the first day of the three-day-long festivities.

People from across the country are gearing up for this year’s celebrations. Whilst some are having church conventions, and organizing family events, many others are making their way to Kwahu to partake in the fun-packed activities lined up for the celebrations.

Known as the center of attraction for most Easter events, Kwahu annually hosts several revelers including tourists who come in to enjoy themselves partaking in activities including hiking, carnivals, street jams and notably paragliding.

Activities will be kick-started today with the likes of paragliding which is set to begin by 10 am.

The Kwahu Easter, the annual Easter celebrations at the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region of Ghana has been accepted as part of Kwahu culture and national celebration, courtesy Ministry of Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts. Families and loved ones travel from all parts of the country and the world to the district every year to partake in the event.
