Ghanaians Urged To Pray For The Government

The Superintendent Minister of the Adweso Circuit of the Methodist Church, Very Reverend Emmanuel Asare-Kusi, has urged Ghanaians to pray for the Government to remain focused on its mission.

He said many past governments started well but did not end well and there was, therefore, the need to remain focused to achieve the success desired by all Ghanaians.

Very Rev. Asare-Kusi made the call in a sermon to mark the celebration of Good Friday at Adweso Calvary Methodist Church near Koforidua.

He said despite several obstructions, Jesus Christ remained focused on his purpose for coming into the world and ended his mission successfully by sacrificing His life for the sake of mankind.

He advised Ghanaians to take advantage of the great lessons of sacrifice and forgiveness associated with Easter to sacrifice for the good of Ghana and forgive one another for peace to prevail.
