Dr. Mills: We May Tell Vodafone To Get The Hell Out!

Dr. Cadman Mills, brother of Associate Professor John Evans Atta Mills who failed as a consultant for the World Bank has stated that his brothers government will chase out Vodafone Plc should their concept party re-engagement with the telecommunication giant failed. According to him, there are a lot of legal issues hanging around the deal so it was a decision of government not to leave the Vodafone agreement alone so the government decided to re-engage them and if that fails there is always a plan B or C which may be telling them to get the hell out! He has said that if the re-engagement fails and the other alternatives fail they would have to resort to hardball. Turning his attention on the opposition Dr. Atta Mills said, if I were the Minority I will feel worried. I mean because their decision to go for the Vodafone agreement was not good so they are saying that we can neither negotiate nor abrogate the agreement. You dont expect them to be happy cheering saying hurray Atta Mills, he said. Dr. Atta Mills, who is an advisor to his brother, the President, on Economic Affairs, was speaking to an Accra-based radio station yesterday. According to him by the very act of re-engagement it means that the minority in parliament would not be happy because they completed the Vodafone deal in certain amount of haste without due process and that the deal is very fishy. They cannot totally absorb themselves of responsibilities and therefore I am not surprised at their reaction.
