My Latest Album Is The Best So Far

RANDY NOONOO, one of Ghana�s most sensational high life musicians, has declared his readiness to take Ghanaian high life music to another level with his current album titled �Gungu No Mmbaa�. The ten-track album, which will be released on Monday, is being played on all the local radio stations throughout the country and in some Francophone countries. Randy Noonoo is one of the most successful music icons Ghana can boast of. He has been in the industry for over two decades. Known for his unique delivery and his stylish Cape Coast Fante, Randy always leaves an impression with the kind of words he uses. He first appeared on the music scene with a gospel album �Menidaso�, in 1987. The title track of his new album, �Gungu No Mmbaa� is a fast-paced tune which can be appreciated by all. It is indeed a timeless danceable masterpiece fit for all occasions. He has successfully and skillfully blended elements of francophone beats with soca and hip life to create extremely electrifying music. The album has the potential of becoming a big hit, considering how it has gained public appeal. �I think my latest album is the best so far�, Randy declared. Talk of lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation, sound quality and the album will be second to none. One feature about Randy�s songs which cannot be easily over-looked is his good song-writing skill and good choruses. Randy, whose lyrics are very educative, has groomed himself into a complete entertainer who knows how to make his fans happy. Randy started singing 25 years ago when he was living with his father, who was a chief at Cape Coast. Randy, who used to play the talking drums at the palace from a tender age discovered singing and always sung along while playing the drums. He told BEATWAVES that he started singing with Christ Mission Devine Ambassador choir in 1982, where he became the choir master. In 1987 Randy released his first album, �Menidaso Wosoro�, which became an instant hit. In 1989 he travelled to Europe to develop his musical career, returning in 1991 to record his second album, �Philomina�, which was released in 1992 by Kox Record Label. In 1993 he produced another album �Experience�, and �Honesty� in 1996 under his own record label, Pillar Records. In 1997 Randy again left the shores of Ghana for Germany to record �Dapen Koro�, which was released by Media Cassette, a label based in Germany. In 1999 he came out with another hit album titled �Mehye Me Goal�, in collaboration with Media Cassette and Pillar Records Label. Randy Noonoo, who worked tirelessly to maintain his image on the Ghanaian music scene, in the year 2000 released �Biakoye�, and in 2004 came out with �Papa Black Man�. Between 2006 and 2008 Randy released three albums, �Khaki Supporter�,� Ato Papa� and �Numo Small Boy�. His current album �Gungu No Mmbaa� is being distributed by Vineyard Productions at Kantamanto in Accra.
