"Aim High, Work Hard & Become World Changers" - Gender Minister Urges BECE Candidates

This year's Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) begins today, Monday, June 5.

Over 400000 candidates from over 15000 public and private schools are expected to partake in the exams at 1702 centers across the nation.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has assured the country of a smooth week-long exams and further noted that they have put in place measures to curb the leakage of exam papers this year.

As the candidates write their first paper today, Hon. Otiko Afisah Djaba, Gender Minister, has wished all BECE candidates best of luck in their examinations.

The Minister advised the candidates to work hard to become great future leaders.

Releasing a statement to mark the "International Day of the Innocent Children and Victims of Aggression", Hon. Otiko Djaba encouraged the candidates to "aim high and keep God and hard work in their hearts as they strive to become world changers".
