Bogoso Police Detains Carpenter Over Captain Mahama's Death

A 29 year-old carpenter has been detained by the Bogoso Police in the Prestea Huni/Valley district over the killing of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama.

The suspect, Solomon Sackey, allegedly reported himself to the Bogoso Police on June 4, at 0900 hours and confessed that he was part of those who lynched the military officer at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region.

Police Chief Inspector Foster Berko, Station officer in-charge of Bogoso who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, said the suspect was immediately arrested.
