'Woman2Woman' Tour Begins In Accra

The 2017 "Woman2Woman" (W2W) tour has begun in Accra.

The event which brings together women from all walks of life to address pertinent life issues was attended by distinguished women who have surmounted their life challenges and poised to inspire other women to go overcome their predicaments.

Speaking at the first leg of this year's programme were Dr. Joyce Aryee of the Salt and Light Ministries, Deputy minister of finance and MP for Atiwa Hon Abena Osei Asare, Mrs. Whitney Boakye Mensah of Innovations/Events WBM, Ms. Nancy - a style Coach and Ms Felicia Sarpong of PABA Cosmetics.

The able speakers took turns to address topics on "how to manage your home as a woman", "achieving success through the odds as a woman" and "decluttering and personal branding" among others.

There were also one-on-one counseling for the attendees.

The founder of Woman2Woman Tour Ghana, Mrs. Akosua Ago Aboagye delivering a speech at this year's event, encouraged women to aim for success despite any odds.

"There is a saying that women are their own enemies, women hate each other and so many negative saying, but W2W wants to prove that there are many extraordinary women out there who are ready and committed to help other women succeed", she said.

She added that "Woman2Woman is on a mission to break down inferiority complex in women so that they can stand on their feet and do exploit for themselves, their families and the world as a whole....W2W is a small world where women lift each other up, support one another, encourage and motivate each other, and pull together their ideas, resources, and talents to help women achieve their own personal goals. Our vision is to see all women succeed and happy. We know that knowledge is power and the Bible says lack of knowledge my people perish, so we seek to impact knowledge into women to believe in themselves and go after their dreams. It is not easy to find relevant information that is tailored to your needs as a woman so the W2W event will offer women the opportunity to ask all their pressing questions concerning their personal development, relationships, career and emotional needs".

This year's tour will also move to Koforidua on 16th July at the Central Assemblies of God Church, to Kumasi on 23rd July at Grace Baptist Church at Amakom and finally end at Sunyani on 30th July at the Sunyani Technical University.
