Arsenal midfielder Denilson believes the Gunners are ready to face Chelsea in their crucial Premier League clash on Sunday after beating Standard Liege in the Champions League.
Arsene Wenger's side progress to the last 16 top of Group H with a game to spare thanks to goals from the Brazilian and Samir Nasri.Denilson was pleased to have found the net with a scintillating 25-yard strike, but is now looking ahead to the crucial game at the Emirates Stadium.
"Arsene Wenger has told me I must shoot more, so I did that tonight and I am very proud of the goal," the Brazilian told Goal.com UK"It was important for the team to win and to make progress."We are through and now we are ready for Sunday."
One player who may not feature on Sunday however is Theo Walcott. The England international came through his return to action as a second-half substitute unscathed, but admitted he is some way short of being fully fit.
"It was just important to get the result tonight and get the game out of the way," he said. "I enjoyed my run out but I need time now to get back to match fitness."
