Division One Clubs Asked To Pay ยข30,000 Each For League Organization

The Division one League board have asked all 48 Clubs to pay GH¢30,000 each for the organization of the League next season.

The development comes after GN Bank refused to extend their sponsorship for the League.

GN Bank signed a three-year contract with the Division one League Board which expired at the end of the 2016/17 season.

The financial firm have since remain reluctant in renewing the deal prompting organizers of the League to put in measures to ensure the competition take place next season.

Reliable sources reveal to Ghanasportsonline.com that all teams have been asked to pay the said amount before the season begins.

The initiative by organizers will further compound the woes of the Clubs who have been struggling to fund themselves.

It further raises the burden on the Ghana Football Association who are currently struggling to secure a sponsor for the Ghana Premier League.
