Deal With Criminals In Ministry - Rev Amankwah

The President of ZOE School of Ministry, Rev Edward Nana Amankwah, has stated that “it is time society deals with criminals parading themselves as both men and women of God with bogus tittles that are not recognised in the Bible.”

Rev Amankwah said such people who call themselves servants of God with numerous titles which they have not earned are a bunch of criminals who breed corruption and all manner of social vices.

Speaking at the maiden graduation and ordination ceremony of ZOE School of Ministry last Saturday, he said ministry is a calling through an encounter with God and not about material gains or titles such as Prophet Emeritus, Professor Doctor, Apostle Doctor, Bishop Doctor and many others titles which cannot be found in the Bible.

The man of God said many people calling themselves men or women of God are blatantly robbing their congregants of their possession, money, property and sometimes some of the male pastors go to the extent of sleeping with their innocent church members.

According to him, ZOE School is established to provide in-depth knowledge to people who believe they are called by God so that they can be relevant in contemporary church, which is the mixture of the spiritual, technology and being abreast of time.

Rev Amankwah said a good preaching is not screaming but speaking the unadulterated word of God that people can relate to for transformation.

The purpose of the school is to help people acquire knowledge and relate to topics which matter to society such as Christians in Politics, adding that many Christian think that it is evil for them to be in politics.

He said Christians these days lack moral values, character and attitude to preach and practise the word of God to bring change and transformation to the society.

“If we don’t engage in politics and people who don’t fear God do, what it means is that corruption is going to be high but those who fear God knows that there is a Supreme Being somewhere who is watching and that alone can top the corrupt practice.”

Rev Amankwah said the school was established in November 2015 with the mandate of teaching the undiluted word of God to bring change to society and mankind.

In all, 11 graduated from the school and five were ordained as reverend ministers, adding that the mistake many Ghanaians make is that the moment one completes a Bible school that person must automatically become a pastor.

“No wonder these days we have people who are preaching the Bible but are criminals because they themselves have not repented, the word has not changed them. They read the Bible and present it as a mere storybook without making it a reflection of their lives. Let me tell you, church is the solution to the problems of the world,” he stated.

He said the school awards a two-year certificate course where people go to learn and add meaning to what they have learnt to change society and called all interested party to enroll there.
